| school visit two |
| my second community service visit was a lot more awesome. i actually go to work with some students. after the kids did a little eating and school work, they go to different classrooms. in the classroom i went to they were doing some reading program. the book program was the 100 book challenge. it is what the name suggests. this was the first day of the program for this class so they had to lay down a bunch of rules and general procedures. the topic of all the books was the rain forrest so that was interesting. all of the children picked books at their reading level, assigned by the teacher, and began to read and log their books. everything went smoothly, i even got to help one kid translate from English to Spanish. it was a fun and educational experience |
