| NCLB enough is enough? |
| someone brought up that some staff are leaving the workplace because they can not take any more of this no child left behind nonsense. a common belief could be that it is causing more trouble than its worth. with the obvious lack of funding its hard to get much of anything accomplished. a random statistic someone threw out there was that we used to be 4th in testing, i believe that is global. now we are somewhere around 10th. i wonder if this is because of all the stress and problems that NCLB is causing. sure the idea is great, but if you ask me. did it really take for the government to tell us, for us to decide that we actually want our kids to get good grades in school?? come on we have always wished that everyone would pass and know all the material. no matter what program you establish, short of brainwashing, its not gonna happen ever. |
